Applicants MUST be available to work weekends as the clinic is open 7 days a week to better serve the community.
Expected knowledge, skills and abilities are as follows:
*Bilingual (english/spanish)
* Manage Front Office duties in a fast paced environment
*Managing multiple phone lines
* Verbal and written fluency of Spanish and English(required).
* Demonstrate accounting skills such as accepting payments & balancing a cash drawer.
* Demonstrate basic computer skills.

Successful applicants can expect to be trained in:
* Use of Electronic Medical Record (AthenaOne) software including
Scheduling appointments
Patient check-in and check-out

We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team and play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to our Spanish-speaking patients. As a critical member of our dental team, you will have the opportunity to lead by example, mentor other team members, and contribute to the success of our practice.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and providing chairside assistance.
Take patient records and maintain accurate patient charts.
Lead, train, and supervise other dental assistants, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Communicate effectively with patients in Spanish, explaining treatment plans, addressing concerns, and providing oral health education.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and maintaining inventory.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Tennessee.
Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) Required.
Proven experience as a dental assistant, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in dental X-rays, impressions, and sterilization techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records systems is a plus.
Additional certifications can be obtained on the job.
